Hello!
My name is Laurel Kratz, I’m an animation production coordinator and artist based in St. Louis! I’ve been hard at work on Iyanu: Child of Wonder with Lion Forge Entertainment.
During my time at Webster University, I’ve found a passion for working with a team of talented people to accomplish one creative goal. I’ve coordinated 3 film festivals with teams of students and lead the Siggraph chapter at Webster. I’ve volunteered at a Cinema St. Louis animation summer camp to help young children learn the basics of animation. I strive to find ways to help others use animation and storytelling to the best of their ability. The passion for what I do is driven by animated features that shape me both when I was a child and now; the process of creating animation with hundreds of people is magical and inspiring. I would love to help you or your team accomplish your creative goals or facilitate any events!
Outside of the world of animation, I strive to live an active lifestyle through lifting, swimming, and running. This helps me be able to chase around my two insane yet beloved young cats, Salsa and Queso.
